This morning I posted to the Facebook group on Traffic Exchanges about the use of spelling games on TE’s and asked for people’s opinions about these little letter games.
The reason for the post came from reading an article in Success Magazine that talk about how easy it is to use the default setting, rather than being creative and innovative and doing something differently. Here is a quote by way of example:
“The hallmark of originality is rejecting the default and exploring whether a better option exists. ”

While I read the article Traffic Exchanges in general came to mind and in particular the spelling games, where every so many pages you click to reveal a new letter that will eventually spell out a phrase or word and your reward for doing so is a few extra credits.
I’m guessing, but I am sure someone will set me straight it I’m wrong, that this is a standard plugin for Traffic Exchange scripts that can then be modified to suit the theme of the TE.
I generally find them uninteresting, boring, and contribute very little to my over all experience at a TE. I certainly don’t miss them at TE’s that don’t use them.
This got me to wondering how you feel about them or if you care one way or another.
I’ve commission a poll…well actually I just created one. I thought it would be fun to see how you feel.
How do you feel about the word spell games on TE's?
- Neutral about them (67%, 4 Votes)
- Think they are silly (33%, 2 Votes)
- Love them (0%, 0 Votes)
- Hate them (0%, 0 Votes)
Total Voters: 6
And once you’ve taken the poll please feel free to add your comments. I’m proud to admit… I crave comments.
